We were blown away by so many profound insights Tuesday night at Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist, like this one: Did you know that when the Passover lambs were sacrificed in the temple, their blood poured out from the right side of the temple, mingling with a stream of flowing water? Blood and water from the right side of the Temple! And then, think of the Cross—when blood and water flowed from the right side of our Lord. What a powerful connection between the Old and New Testaments! This reveals God’s divine providence, weaving together His eternal plan of salvation.
