The Finance Council consists of five to nine parishioners appointed by the pastor whose purpose is advisory to and consultative with the pastor in preparation of the annual budget and in goal-setting processes to ensure that financial resources and parish goals are compatible. The council recommends security procedures for handling money and recommends financial policies to the pastor in light of current policies issued by the diocesan finance and legal office.
The council members are appointed by the pastor and serve a term of three years. They may be appointed for a second three-year term. Our current Finance Council members are:
